The
challenge in working on Accupril was that a design style had already
been established in the products print campaign.
The solution was to incorporate that style through the use of consistent
elements. The print pieces contained a basic design structure that
was easy to manipulate into rows and columns. From there, and along
with creative direction, I created a modular design with a persistent
side navigation. The colors chosen were in the same family of the
print materials, but needed more saturation. The muted tones on a
monitor conveyed a somber, moody tone. Since then the Accupril team
had decided to let go of the printed materials. With that change
we were able to give the design some room to breathe by introducing
green, which ultimately changed the quality of the design.
