Teach For America is a non-profit company that recruits collage graduates to teach in low-income school systems. The Web site is in most cases the first point of information for the audience. The design strategy is to inform and compel the audience to register for an application.

The under girding of the site's structure is a modular grid. The grid helps to form a style consistency and carry the message in a clean and easy-to-use experience.

To keep all participants informed of news, company updates, and regional specific events, TFA decided to create a company intranet. The design parameters were: the site has to load quickly, and the design needs to be flexible.

The solution was to create a clean look-and-feel with few graphics, and a strong emphasis on color harmony. About a dozen template pages were created to give the greatest amount of flexibility to all regional webmasters who would eventually maintain their respective site.
